We provide various services, including land planning, municipal entitlements, project management, marketing, land sales, and public relations consulting. Our company has a team of experienced professionals who work closely with clients to ensure the success of their projects. Matt Loo | Owner

Matt is experienced in implementing efficient and practical management of resources to ensure quality and profitability for each Ascend Land Consultants' client. Having spent 18 years in municipal government, he deeply understands the entitlement process, municipal codes and ordinances, and relationships with elected officials, enabling him to navigate governmental approval processes seamlessly. He is skilled at fostering robust team environments, budgeting, open communications, public relations, quality control, and conflict resolution. Matt's highest priority is maximizing the client's vision, objectives, and profitability. He attended BYU-Hawaii, majoring in Human Resources with a minor in Business Management. He and his wife, Donna, are the parents of five children and grandparents of 11 grandchildren.

UNDERSTAND, CONNECT AND ASCEND

UNDERSTAND

Understanding the landowner’s goals and vision is vital for developing their property to maximize its value and use and involves carefully considering the land's unique qualities. The landowner must consider elements such as zoning regulations, environmental impact, and market studies for specific types of development. Maximizing the value of the land may also involve utilizing sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in the development process. Ultimately, the landowner's vision is to create a vibrant and thriving community that benefits them financially and is a valuable asset for the surrounding area.

CONNECT

First, we would engage with the landowner to understand their plans, goals, and vision for the land. We would then identify all stakeholders and parties involved in the development process, such as neighboring residents, community leaders, architects, builders, and regulatory bodies.

We would then work with these stakeholders to ensure that the development plan considers all the unique qualities of the land while also meeting community needs and regulatory requirements. This may involve conducting impact studies, consulting with the local community, and reviewing zoning regulations and permitting.

Throughout the planning and development process, we would maintain open and transparent communication with the landowner and all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or objections in a prompt and respectful manner.

Overall, our collaborative and comprehensive approach would connect all parties in the land development process, bringing together their unique perspectives and expertise.

ASCEND

We take a collaborative and transparent approach to connecting with all the stakeholders and approving bodies in a land development project. We would identify all the key stakeholders and ensure they are involved in the planning process from the start. This may include local residents, community leaders, business owners, environmental groups, and government officials.

Communication is essential, so we would use a variety of channels to keep all stakeholders informed as the project progresses. This may include regular community meetings, social media updates, and newsletters. Additionally, we would be open to feedback and suggestions from stakeholders, addressing any concerns or objections.

We would work closely with regulatory bodies to gain approval for the project and ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained. This may involve presenting the project clearly and concisely, highlighting its benefits to the community, and addressing any potential issues or risks.

Building trust and fostering open communication among stakeholders and regulatory bodies is our key to successfully developing a project and gaining approval. By working together towards a shared vision, we can maximize the land's value and use while ensuring the community's interests are being served.
